Tamala Chirwa is the CEO of Professional Coaching Institute (PCI), a coach-training company in Lilongwe, Malawi that develops and supports a credible community of professional coaches through high-impact coach-training programs and supports decision makers to embed coaching in their organisational cultures. Her role entails working with organisational clients in various sectors through designing and delivering leadership development programs for executives. Her coaching philosophy is based on the premise that high potentials and performers must be adequately supported to sustain the successes they register in their career trajectories to ultimately build powerful leadership legacies. She remains steadfast on her resolve to meaningfully contribute towards advancing the coaching agenda in Malawi and Africa. Tamala is also the Founding CEO of Women’s Leadership Footprint, a coaching practice in Malawi that supports women in leadership through coaching so that they can be more effective and impactful in their roles.
Tamala is an International Coach Federation (ICF) Credentialed Professional Certified Coach (PCC) specialising in executive coaching. She is a Corporate Trainer and Leadership Consultant. Her credentials include an MBA from Management College of Southern Africa, ACCA Diploma in Financial Management, Post-Graduate Management Certificate from University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business and Vital Voices Leadership Fellow. She has solid experience and expertise in designing and delivering leadership development programs for organisations and coach-training programs for aspiring professional coaches.
